Masks Recommended in Y-12 FCU Branches

Earlier this week, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated their guidance regarding wearing masks indoors.  To prevent further spread of the more transmissible Covid-19 Delta variant, they are now recommending that everyone, including fully vaccinated people, wear masks indoor in areas with substantial and high transmission of Covid-19.  Cases in East Tennessee have increased rapidly over the last few weeks, and all counties in our service area currently fall in the substantial or high categories for transmission.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, it has been our practice to follow CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our members, employees, and communities.  Beginning Monday, August 2nd, we will be requesting that all members wear a mask when entering a Y-12 FCU branch.  If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.

We will continue to evaluate cases in our area and will follow any updated guidelines as they are issued.  Thank you for your patience and cooperation in helping to keep everyone safe!
