Community Shred Day
Community Shred Day
Date: 5/13/2023
One of the best ways to protect your identity is to shred documents that include any confidential information such as: account numbers, social security numbers, account balances, bank statements, cancelled checks, credit card receipts, tax and insurance records.May 13
Guidelines
Due to the limited amount of space for shredding per truck, we ask each vehicle limit to FOUR boxes (up to 12"x10"x15") or FOUR tall kitchen trash bags (13-gallon or smaller).
Once the truck(s) are filled to capacity, they will leave the premises.
We are only able to shred clean, dry paper - such as credit union statements, credit card receipts, financial statements, and tax records.
We are not able to accept the following: batteries, books, bullets, cardboard, electronics, glass, grocery bags, hazardous materials, household trash, medical trash, metals, phone books, plastics, or three-ring binders.
*Dates are subject to change dependent on weather or other conditions. Trucks may leave early when filled to capacity. The credit union reserves the right to reject any shred materials at their discretion.
