Director, Deposit Operations
The Director of Deposit Operations is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of deposit operations for the Credit Union, with a focus on delivering efficient, accurate, and compliant services. This role oversees daily operations including ACH processing, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, overdraft protection programs, IRAs, check processing, returns, and business banking services. The Director ensures the highest level of operational integrity and customer service while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies. We are seeking a dynamic and engaging leader to manage our hybrid work team.

This role will oversee big data management, AI and machine learning innovation, and data governance, ensuring compliance, security, and scalability in all data operations. The VP of Data must also be an effective communicator and change agent, ensuring that data-driven innovation is embedded across all business functions. This role will lead all activities related to database system operations and reporting performed by the data management team.

This role will provide support to the business services teams. Provide expertise in underwriting, structuring, servicing, documenting, and approving or denying new and renewal business credits. Responsible for identifying, gathering, and analyzing relevant information to assess credit risk, establish viability of sources of repayment, and determine appropriate loan structures. Act as lead underwriter in collaboration with bankers in preparing credit approval memos with recommendations consistent with credit union policies and procedures that illustrate well-reasoned analysis. Perform servicing reviews and support management of the assigned portfolio to identify and minimize risk to the credit union. Provide quality customer service, including participating in joint member & prospect calls.
