  • Financial Outreach

    • Financial Outreach addresses financial literacy gaps while providing access to the tools and resources necessary to build economic security.

    • We have several different programs that can help with entry level topics for financial literacy or choose from our In-Person Financial Education series seen here. (Hyperlink to Everfi Presentation One pager PDF)

    • If approved, we offer these services on behalf of Y12-FCU as a way to reach out and support our community.

    • Each year we partner with multiple area schools to host varying projects with students. Our School Branches are exclusively operated by student volunteers! Learn more about those branches here.

    • These are introductory branches of Y-12 FCU, operated by volunteer students. This experience gives students firsthand working experience and is a great way to introduce more youth to financial opportunities.

    • Students are selected through an application process organized by Y-12 FCU and your school’s liaison for the program. Typically, a business or finance teacher will help you get involved if your interested in the program.

    • Every year in January we open applications to the Bill T. Hicks Scholarship. Students from schools in our eight counties can apply by following the instructions on the website.

    • Yes! The school branches are a great way to get started, but when your ready for the next step in your financial journey, feel free to visit any of our convenient branches to get started.
