  • As a member, your subscription includes debit cards for up to five kids, quick money transfers, spending notifications, chores, automated allowance, the Level Up financial literacy game, and more.

  • Greenlight supports kids and grownups of all ages. No minimum (or maximum) age here.

  • The Greenlight card can be used almost anywhere Mastercard® is accepted, online, and in-store. “Almost,” because our cardholders are kids, and Greenlight has put important guardrails in place.

  • Set allowance on autopilot or take a more hands-on approach. You can pay a percentage based on chore progress or only if and when tasks are completed.

  • As a member of Y-12 Credit Union, your Greenlight subscription is free.*

  • Yes! Greenlight debit cards are FDIC-insured up to $250,000 and come with Mastercard® Zero Liability Protection. Greenlight blocks unsafe spending categories and gives parents the ability to control or turn off cards at any time.

  • Parents can create a checklist in the Greenlight app and assign chores to up to five kids. They'll get reminders and can check off tasks as they complete each one.

  • Kids can save money on Greenlight in several ways including:
    • Adding a savings goal.
    • Turning on Round Ups to send spare change from purchases to savings.
    • Using Parent-Paid Interest to set and pay an interest rate on kids' savings.
    • Automating a percentage of allowance to go to savings.
